ScribbleBot is a custom tool that allows you to easily convert a drawing or 'scribble' on the stage in Flash into a set of frames on the timeline to animate the drawing. A 'control panel' is provided in order let you review/preview past drawings, change settings, and to record the animation. Different settings allow you to specify how many frames the animation should take, or how many 'points' of the drawing should be in each frame. A 'trail' and 'jitter' setting is also provided.
Once you install the tool, the basic flow of creating a scribble animation is as follows:
1. Select the ScribbleBot tool in the Tools panel.
2. Scribble around on the stage to make your drawing.
3. Open the ScribbleBot control panel (Window > Other Panels > ScribbleBot), change settings, and select 'RECORD FRAMES'.
Please follow the links above for more detailed help on each of these steps.
