Creating your 'scribble' drawing on the stage

To make a drawing on the stage, simply select the ScribbleBot tool (the cursor will become a cross '+') and begin drawing, just as you would with the pencil tool. You can use the pencil tool to set up stroke color/size etc. before you begin using the ScribbleBot tool. However keep in mind that in the final animation you create with the 'RECORD FRAMES' button, the drawing is created using whatever stroke settings are currently set at that time.

When you are done drawing, use the control panel to record your animation.

Special features of the drawing tool

Two command features can be applied as you are drawing: precise lines and straight lines.

In order to make a line 'precise', hold down CTRL while you are drawing. As long as the CTRL key is down you are given the chance to manually find the the next point in your drawing before it is recorded.

In order to make a line 'straight' hold down CTRL+SHIFT while you are drawing. This works the same as 'precise' mode, except it constrains your line to be 'snapped' at a 0, 45 or 90 degree angle.
