StockTicker 2.0 - AS3 version released!

The latest update for the StockTicker component (2.0) includes an AS3 version of the component.

The AS3 version still uses the stockquote.php script to access quote data - however you will just need to specify a full path to the script now in the retrieverScriptURL property, ie. http://www.mydomain.com/stockquote.php

For projects set to use ActionScript 3, you will see the 'flashextension.net AS3' tab in the components panel, where you can find the AS3 version of the component.

In one of the posts you said you were working on a non-PHP version of the stock ticker...is that still the case? Unfortunately we are using ColdFusion for our websites.

Yes, we are considering making an ASP.net and Coldfusion version of the script, just trying to decide if there is enough demand to make it worthwhile. Thanks for letting us know you need ColdFusion.

Unfortunately there still is no ASP version, but demand is growing so it's still being considered. I can't give you a release date at this point though.

To get the AS3 version, just PM me with your paypal transaction ID and/or email you used to purchase the component and we will send you the update!
