Hello, I have used the Text Catalog Tool for quite some time and I think it is an amazing tool. I am thinking of upgrading to Flash CS4 but could not get the Text Catalog Tool loaded to CS4 Trial.

I also came across a link to Text Catalog Tool for CS4 for $400, but it says that it is for (About Kid's Health) and not sure if it is the only version of tool that is available for CS4. Can you tell me about CS4 support and the pricing structures?

thank you!

Oh sorry- you can ignore that link for the $400 version, that was some custom client work we did.

However, the free version of the tools that are online now should work on CS4... what problems are you having?

Hi Rich,

thank you very much for your quick response.

I am running a trial version of CS4 Flash on Win 7 machine which a full version of CS3 is already installed. After running the mxp, the text catalog tool does not appear under Other Panels, as it did in CS3. I am not sure if this is because I have 2 versions installed on the same machine?

thank you !

Do you have the latest version of Adobe Extension Manager?

You have to make sure the extension is enabled for both CS3 and CS4 - there should be a check mark for each version in the extension manager.
