Purchases & Downloads
To purchase a component, simply go through the checkout process and wait for the receipt email which contains download instructions. All downloads are either in MXP or ZIP format.
MXP files are an Adobe file format, and can be installed by simply double-clicking them. This brings up the Macromedia Extension Manager, which walks you through the installatio process and prompts you to save any additional files. Once installation is finished, you may have to restart Flash to see the new content. For components, all you have to do is select 'Reload' in the Components Panel, and the new component(s) will appear under the 'flashextension.net' node.
Sounds and some other items are deployed in ZIP format, which can be uncompressed with any zip decompression utility.
To download free items, simply click on the 'Download' link on the product page and follow the same installation instructions as above.
Sample Files
All components and most other packages come with at least one sample file. You will be prompted to save the files (usually zipped FLA files) during installation. The samples generally contain examples of ActionScript, graphics and design to demonstrate a number of different features for the item. Of course, if you have other questions about features and functionality, feel free to email us.
